This tutorial is a stepping stone
for people that meet Knoppix/Linux/Unix for the first time.
Beside booting and configuring Knoppix it describes standard
application software as for example evolution (time management),
GIMP (image processing), K3b (burning CDs), konqueror (file
manager and web-browser) or OpenOffice (word processing,
spreadsheet calculation, presentation).
Its compilation is ongoing, it is yet not finished. So do not expect a perfect manual that answers all your questions. I appreciate every single suggestion, remark, indication of failure, and proposal for cooperation.
This tutorial describes the Knoppix Version 3.4 CeBit
